Hello, my name is San Diego Driver.

majorcupcake:

I have no idea how to drive in the rain. It’s as if all my years of driving experience have gone out the window the moment the first drop of water hits the windshield of my brand new BMW. I firmly believe that merging onto the freeway at 40mph is a good idea because my top of the line non-performance tires are no match for these awfully slick roads. It’s only drizzling, but I mustn’t go faster than 20mph below the posted speed limit, and I STILL don’t believe in using my blinker. Fuck that, everyone should be ablebto read my mind. Oh, but it’s totally okay to drive dangerously close to the person on the bike- just trying to say hello and make my presence known!

I’m a San Diego driver- instant idiot, just add water! Oh, excuse me while I reply to this text while trying to get to the 805.

Would be a lot funnier if it was so true.

The Okapi is the only living relative of the giraffe. Like giraffes, okapis have really long tongues—so long that they clean their eyes and ears with them. Enjoy this recent photo of our okapi calf.

Next week’s Ghost Adventures episode is in Old Town San Diego

jennyfaye-:

At the Whaley House. That place is CREEPY during group tours in the broad daylight. The open backyard makes you feel like you can’t breathe!

I never shared this. San Diego has the Doctor as their cross walk guys. These were all over by the convention center.

How I spent the blackout.

My brother came over.

Lit candles of course, used some birthday candles inside a candle that had no wick left. We waxed the coffee table multiple times, hey it was dark.

Harley spent the night in the window.

Had a meal of baked potatoes, made on the bbq.

All of San Diego county without power.

Power ‘event’ happened between AZ and CA.

Both major connections to the region have been lost.

This could go into tomorrow in some areas.

The outage has effected Mexico and Baja as well.

All 1.4 million SDGE customers are without power.

Info I’ve gathered from twitter.
